 Back on My Feet, the nonprofit organization that uses running to promote the self-sufficiency of Philadelphia’s homeless population is celebrating its 2nd birthday on July 3rd, 2009. In conjunction with this, BOMF is launching its second annual two-week $100,000 birthday campaign. The campaign will be launched live via webcast on CBS3.com that will feature Anne Mahlum, Founder and President of Back on My Feet along with a member of the organization who together, will give a recap of the past year as well as announce the next city in which BOMF will have its third chapter.
Your company can team up with Back on My Feet to show its support as well as help them reach their $100,000 goal by encouraging employees to wear their sneakers to work on Friday, June 19th for $5.
Here’s How it Works…
- Your company will promote Back on My Feet Sneaker Day starting the end of May through internal online networks and signs throughout your office (signs provided by BOMF)
- Company logo will be on all the signs that will be distributed to all participating companies.
- Each partnering company will select one representative to collect the $5 from every employee
- Your company will join the BOMF Birthday webpage and create their company team. The link is, www.active.com/donate/bomfbirthday2
- Your company representative will count the money and enter the total amount raised to its team page.
- A BOMF representative will pick-up the money sometime between 1 pm and 5 pm on Friday, June 19th. This BOMF representative will also be available to give a talk to the company if desired.
- Your company will receive recognition during the live webcast on CBS 3.com by Anne Mahlum.
Matching Partners: Companies that agree to match the money made ( a minimum of $2,500) will be listed as a matching partner on all BOMF and media promotion (CBS 3, print, web).
Your company will be included on the promotion of the event on BOMF’s website and email campaigns (12,600 people)
